As the Accounting Department Manager, Ms. Austin is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, corporate income taxes, reviewing quarterly payroll tax returns, and client billings. She maintains the accounts receivables, while monitoring the firm's cash flow, project costs, and project budget utilization. She assists project managers in completing contractor pay estimates and reimbursement requests. At the direction of the executive staff, she prepares the annual company budget and financial goals, and administers internal aspects of the profit sharing plan. She also monitors overhead rates, works closely with independent auditors, and directs the operations of the Accounting Department. Ms. Austin is versatile and knowledgeble in all accounting aspects of the firm. She has been with PEC since 1995. Her education and work experience are a good fit for the companies needs.
